A former director of Pôle emploi has set up tests adapted to the needs of companies for their recruitment. The idea is to select jobseekers not on their experience, but on their aptitude. It is know-how that is at the heart of the MSR, a recruitment method based on simulation.

According to Pôle emploi, this method makes it possible to broaden the search for candidates by focusing on identifying the skills required for the proposed job. It does not use the usual recruitment criteria of experience and qualifications. This recruitment method is used in about a hundred Pôle emploi centres in France. France 2 reporters filmed the candidates in the Pantin agency (Seine-Saint-Denis) and met the founder of the method in question.
